HUNTER BRIDGES

Hunter Bridges, Interior Designer and Owner of Hunter Bridges Interiors, discovered his passion for furniture at the young age of 16 when he purchased his first piece—a stunning Antique Louis XV chest that captured his heart instantly. This initial love for furniture blossomed into a deep appreciation over the years. By 18, Hunter was actively sourcing and wholesaling European antiques across Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, AL, and New Orleans.

His innate eye for design naturally attracted friends and family seeking his guidance, which gradually evolved into a professional venture. In 2022, Hunter relocated from Birmingham to Fairhope, AL, where he founded Gulf Coast Staging, LLC, merging his interests in real estate and design. Although holding a real estate referral license, Hunter found his true calling in furniture and interior design, quickly earning community acclaim for his exceptional staging services. This success soon blossomed into growing demand for bespoke interior design solutions.

Hunter Bridges Interiors prides itself on an autodidactic approach, crafted through countless hours of self-education and practical experience rather than formal academic training. The firm is discerning in its client relationships, prioritizing those who seek to tell a rich, personal story through their space. Every project is bespoke, reflecting Hunter’s dedication to deeply understanding and representing each client’s individuality.

Inspired by culture, travel, religious art, architecture, and nature, Hunter’s design philosophy revolves around timelessness and authenticity. The initial consultation is akin to a first date—an intuitive connection that ensures the right partnership. Customer service is paramount, as echoed by client’s reviews and lasting client relationships.

Hunter Bridges Interiors does not chase fleeting trends. Instead, the firm believes the home should be a true reflection of its inhabitants—when a space authentically resonates with the client, it becomes timeless. It is this depth and personalized approach that defines Hunter Bridges Interiors, where design is more than aesthetics—it’s the art of telling your story.

LORI SMITH

Lori’s love for interiors started early—constantly rearranging her childhood bedroom, always seeing a room not just for what it was, but for what it could be. That creative eye eventually led her from one design world to another. Before interiors, Lori spent over a decade as a hairstylist, working with color, texture, and form—just in a different medium.

After stepping away from the salon in 2016 to focus on motherhood, Lori returned to the workforce in 2022 through home furnishings and in-home consultations. That path eventually led her to Hunter Bridges Interiors in 2023.

As a design assistant, Lori supports projects with thoughtful input, organization, and a keen sensitivity to the feeling of a space. Her design sensibilities lean modern and streamlined, but over time she’s developed a love for neoclassical influences, European antiques, bold color, and layered pattern—something she credits to her exposure to a broader design world.

Outside the studio, Lori enjoys time with her family, their standard poodle Louis, and weekends at the ballpark.
